GOD SAVE THE FUCKING QUEEN: THE DAILY MAIL ‘COMMENTERS’!!

4 05 2008

WOOT!

“”I am just totally fed up with this artificial distinction…this sort of Arian controversy about the old Boris and the new,” he said. “There is no distinction.” His “Arian” remark apparently referred to an obscure theological dispute in the early church. Mr Johnson, sounding more and more like the “old Boris”, then accused the media of being full of “pent-up rage” over his professional behaviour.””

“”You are like some ravening Hyrcanian tiger which has been deprived of its mortal prey — a Johnson blooper.” Hyrcanian tigers used to prowl the shores of the Caspian Sea until they became extinct in the second half of the 20th Century. They are mentioned in Shakespeare’s Macbeth and in Virgil’s Aeneid.

Mr Johnson then offered Labour MPs some political advice, suggesting they should “quietly remove Gordon Brown and install Miliband”. And he went on to tell Radio 4 interviewer Evan Davis: “I want you to know that I have already had a drink, but that has no way impaired our conversation…as I think your listeners will determine””

YAWN.

Best bit as usual is The ‘crazy’ Mail readers reactions BELOW.

The press should not make the mistake of bringing Boris down, we love him because he is so un politically correct, we love him for his eccentricity and we love him because he is different to all other MPs who are robotic and boring. We love him, and be warned the press, if you start to bring him down, then you will be vilified by all.

And why shouldn’t he? “Cheers, Boris!” I hope you enjoyed it – you certainly deserved it.

– Lizzy, Surrey

A breath of fresh air. Welcome Boris but please do not change who you are, we need your intellect and eccentricities to make London a better place.

– David Fahn, London England

Good for you, Boris! Be your own man. You’re the most powerful elected Tory in the land so don’t let Cameron or others pull any strings on you.

– Terence, Hereford, UK

Go Boris, you rock!

– Bri, Hertfordshire

So nice to have a politician who doesn’t “dumb down” for the journo’s and the cameras. Maybe education(as opposed to “training”) will come back into fashion in London…
